Vanessa Hudgens and Oliver Trevena bonded over their shared passion for eco-friendly activism over Prickly Pear Margaritas.
This conversation led them to create Caliwater, a California cactus water beverage that offers more than just hydration.
Caliwater is a line of innovative, functional drinks that bring people closer to the planet and to each other. The duo drew inspiration from the diverse landscapes of California and utilized the prickly pear cactus fruit, which is sourced from the desert regions in the Southwest and Mexico.
It is known for its unique and beneficial properties. Through their resourcefulness and ingenuity, Vanessa and Oliver brought Caliwater to life, starting with their flagship product, Wild Prickly Pear Cactus Water.

Caliwater’s goal is not only to provide health benefits to our consumers, but also to raise awareness about the fight against childhood hunger. Partnering with , a charity working to put a stop to hungry children, Caliwater pledges to donate 5 cents for every can purchased, with the goal of donating $1 million by April 2022. While childhood hunger has been a lasting issue, the pandemic increased the number of children facing food shortage or insecurity, exponentially. This makes our support more crucial now than ever.
